                Meet Marlene

Marlene has spent her entire career helping people live more satisfying, fulfilling, and happier lives. Originally trained as a Clinical Counselor with a Ph.D. in Psychology, she is  Nationally Board Certified as both a Coach* and a Counselor. In addition to her clinical practice, she also has broad experience working in the business arena; co-created three non profit organizations; served as an elected official; active volunteers with the American Red Cross  at the local and national level, and as an Executive Service Corps member for the Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management at Robert Morris University. She has also served as adjunct faculty at several institutions of higher learning and is a regular contributor to Pittsburgh Today Live on KDKA TV. In her spare time she enjoys making art, cooking, and traveling. She lives in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania with her husband. They enjoy visits to  Boston, Austin and Los Angeles to visit their three grown sons.  



* Board Certified Coach (BCC)  is awarded through the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) as a means to independently verify that applicants have met professional coaching competency standards established by CCE and are subject matter experts. These standards reflect the common knowledge, skills and abilities of a professional coach. The BCC is a mark of quality and provides independent third party verification that they have achieved certain coaching competency standards.
